Planning for eBusiness

Back to two weeks ago, I found something I am interested and I believe there is a market for that. This was Russia Military watch. This interested me because the history of these kind of watches come before the USSD spit up. These watches are still under production and thus their prices are not expensive.

Not, I am waiting for the first lot to arrive for sell. I hope This could help me to find a new source of income. As a software engineer for over ten years in Hong Kong, I found that the future is not so bright. Therefor I really need to find a way to set up my business. Even though it is not a big business but I hope it could bring me a start first. At first, I was planning to set up an eBusiness to sell jade. I love jade a lot, but the problem is that it is really hard to sell good jade in internet. Jade could be expensive and difficult to judge if they are real. Have to see the really stuff to justify. The problem for selling jade to Hong Kong people is that there are many shops in Hong Kong selling Jade. For selling, people buy stuff mostly drive be one instance. Most customers don't come back when they have time to think about buying something. Therefor my jade business is pretty bad.

Now is time for change. I hope the people selling me the watches is reliable. So I just order a few and I hope he is a good honest man.

So let see how things go.

Slava watches

History:
Slava (meaning "Glory") watches are inexpensive, classic "civil" Russian watches commonly referred to as "Slava Lava!". The Slava factory (known originally as the Second Moscow Watch Factory) was the second non-military watch maker established in the Soviet Union. The watches of this brand look quite civilian, without a real military layout.

The early movements were derived from an old pre-war French movement, the Lip "T-15" (also some Poljot movements were derived from this French brand), and produced under license.

The word "slave" has the etymological root "Slav" because Slavs were often enslaved. Slavs were the origin of the word "slave" in European lanuages and in Arabic. "Slavic" refers to a lot of people, including Caucasian, Slovak (Czechoslovakian), Slovene (Slovenia & parts of Austria & Italy), Polish, Serbo-Croatian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, and Russian.

The word is also related to the word "Serb," which is related to the origin of the words "serf" and "serve" and "servitude," again via the same root concept of "slave."

Throughout history, the Serbs have been situated between two important cultures: the Byzantine East (Islamic East) and the Latin West. They were subjugated into slavery by the Moslem Turks for over five centuries during the Middle Ages.
Under socialism, Slavs and Serbs became slaves once again: socialist slaves.

Eventually the USSR realized the negative connotations of the watch's name in the West. The name was changed to "Craba." In Cyrillic, the word "slavs" is "славянин."

After the collapse of the Soviet Socialism, Slavs and Serbs celebrated freedom again.

The Slava watch factory and its property were expected to be rescued from socialism and returned (sold) to the open market, economic freedom, and capitalism as private property for retail development.

Today, the word "slava" has many meanings in Russia, Serbia and other countries. "Slava" often is praise and glorification for deliverance from slavey. It is often directed toward a saint believed to have interceded for deliverance. A Slava sometimes celebrates the day that a family's main ancestor killed his first Turkish soldier during the wars between Serbia and Turkey. Slava celebrations have many parallels to Passover celebrations, including commemoration of exodus from slavery.

The Slava celebration revived in Serbia after the fall of the socialist regime in Yugoslavia.
The doomsday clock of socialism continues to symbolize the threat of shortages, poverty, misery, starvation, atrocities and mass slaughter. The closest that the doomsday clock came to striking midnight was during the years occupied by the the hate-spewing paramilitary societies created in the socialist trio of atrocities (above). They killed more people than would three nuclear bombs. The world still has not rejected their philosophy of socialism and the deaths mount as the bomb's clock keeps ticking.

While Slava watches utilize some Russian-made movements today, many post-Soviet Slava watch movements are imported from China. As of January, 2006, the Slava factory and its property are to be sold for retail development. Thus, the future of the Slava brand is uncertain.

Specnaz Watches

During the 1970s, when the Cold War was at its height, the West became aware
of the existence of Soviet Spetsnaz troops, which were grouped into what
were known as "diversionary brigades." Today, although the Cold War is long
since ended, Spetsnaz units are still part of the Russian order-of-battle,
although their missions have changed.

Spetsnaz (Spetsialnoye nazranie = troops of special purpose) were raised as
the troops of the Glavnoe razvedyvatel'noe upravlenie (GRU) (= main
intelligence directorate [of the General Staff]) and in the 1980s numbered
some 30,000. These were deployed: one Spetsnaz company per Army; one
Spetsnaz regiment in each of the three "theaters of operations"; one
Spetsnaz brigade in each of the four Soviet Fleets; and an independent
Spetsnaz brigade in most military districts of the USSR. There were also
special Spetsnaz intelligence units, one to each Front and Fleet: total 20.

SPETSNAZ watches are produced by a Russian company Верный ход (Right Move). Their website is http://www.right-move.ru/

"Spetsnaz" watches

From January 2002 Right Move company began to produce special series of the "Spetsnaz" watches (it is Russian abbreviation of "special-purpose" phrase). The necessity of producing these watches was aroused by cooperation with well-known companies "Poligon" and "Splav". While the first models of "Speznaz" corresponded to the specialization of those retailers only by appearance, now we able to offer watches what are more quality and adapted to the extreme conditions of exploitation.

In this series firstly in Russia we ready to offer exclusive watches with autogenerator! This watches don’t need batteries. Theirs case is hermetic and made of stainless steel.

The watch "Spetsnaz" is for real men!

Time is power!

Vostok Watches Series

Amphibian collection

Today the majority of manufacturers try to produce and take out to the international market new diver models. Every company works not only at perfection of movements but at technical conception of presentation of the model in general. For example, Japanese makers, creating their untraditional models, direct their attention to people, who are keen on fashion kinds of activities.

Traditional conservatism of Russian manufacturer guarantees the stability on the market of the diver watches NV-1 produced a lot of years ago by Chistopolsky Watch Factory "Vostok" by request of Department of Defense. This model is the basis for "Amphibian" model, which can count the time in any environment and at any temperature and stand hard accelerative forces. These watches are intended more for professionals than for amateurs. But in spite of this fact they are available especially because of low prices.

"Vostok" watches are popular in Russia and abroad. It is surprising that soldiers of US, UK, German armies wear Amphibian watches. When in 1992 during "Storm in Desert" operation USA and its allies crushed Saddam Hussein, in Pentagon they decided to reward all participants of the campaign with memorable watches by old tradition. There was a competition, who could supply the desired quantity of watches with required characteristics in the shortest period of time. This competition was won by the company, which presented the famous "Amphibian", and several months later the winners were awarded by 20 thousand watches with the logo of this campaign.

What is necessary to guarantee the good quality of diver mechanical watches with autowinding? Of course, it is the degree of its impermeability. The lives of plungers depend on it. Screw mechanical crown and back cover, unusual plexiglas, which is difficult to take off even in a workshop, guarantee amphibian waterproofness of 200 meters. Waterproofness of this model is checked at the factory under pressure at least 10 atm.

The movement is created in Russia and it is very simple and reliable. Amphibian has a calendar in the small window and a band turning in both sides (lunette) in order to set the time of submersion and decompression stages which are useful during lifting. Lunette indicators in the form of red points from one side and blue ones from the other are drawn in 5-minutes intervals and seen well under water in distance of 25 sm. The same may be said about hands and numbers, which are covered with special phosphoric paint.

Every "Amphibian" item is checked individually for the purpose of 100% conformity with international quality standards for diver watches. Legibility of lunette and dial's inscriptions, antimagnetic properties of case, reliability of bracelet and clasp, everything is tested. Watches must stand atmosphere, water pressure, and sudden temperature difference. Such tests allow speaking about quality and reliability of the watches. So, Amphibian watches are suitable.

Vostok Watches History and Information

The history of Vostok watches dates back to 1942 when one of the Moscow watch-making plants was evacuated to a little town Chistopol located on the Kama River in the central region of Russia. All manner of Defence equipment was made at the factory during the war years. As soon as the war was over, however, they started to make mechanical wristwatches - the main production ever since. In 1965, the factory became an official supplier of the Soviet Union Department of Defence. This year marks the creation of the world famous "Komandirskie" (Commander's) wristwatches that demonstrate the highest standards of precision, reliability, and resistance to unfavourable conditions. Nowadays, Vostok wristwatches are awarded various international prizes and prove very popular both in Russia and abroad for a combination of high precision, reliability and modern design.
