Vostok Watch Makers, Inc. produces mainly rugged military-style and diver's watches at its factory in Tatarstan, Chistopol city, Russia .

The history of the factory is started in 1942 during WW2. First Moscow Watch Factory ( most known as Polojt factory ) was evacuated to East to small town Chistopol on the Kama river . During the WW2 the factory produced the wrist watches and military equipment . After the war part of First Moscow Watch Factory was returned back to Moscow and factory continued produce the wrist watches with own trade mark Vostok.

Vostok now is a leader of russian watch industry. Vostok factory had been an official supplier for the Ministry of Defense of the USSR (now Russia ) and produced watches for the Soviet ( Russian ) Army . Vostok is official supplier of Russian Army now too.

品牌故事
VOSTOK (東方淨土之意)成立於西元1942年,也就是在The Grate Patriotic War 期間在一個叫作 Kama 河畔的Chistopal的小鎮創立的,起初是以生產時鐘和手錶供蘇聯軍隊作為軍事上的用途,但隨著此一戰爭的結束其優良的品質就使其成為以軍事用途為主要的生產導向,直到西元1965年憑藉其高度精準性和優異的可靠性和耐久性正式的成為蘇聯官方指定使用並被授予金質獎同年生產一款名為指揮官系列(紅星錶)KOMANDIRSKIE的手錶,Vostok的光輝歷史在於對軍用錶的完美製造使其 能夠在各種堅困環境下依然正常行走1991年更為美國五角大廈提供參加沙漠風暴士兵4萬只的手錶足見其在軍事上優藝品質來自全世界更對此一錶廠高度讚揚至今仍是俄羅斯最大的手錶製 造廠佔總生產量的40%
